Race Route

RACE DETAILS

A popular summers evening 10km road race around the moorland roads of Greetland near Halifax. Very scenic and always attracts a large field.

The route includes a loop back to the start after 1 mile, it then follows the old route to the crossroads of Scammonden Road and the B6113 (just after 3 miles on the old course). Instead of turning right here runners will now turn left and head straight back to the finish. This eliminates the many tricky road crossings we had plus the hill at 4 miles so this should also be a faster course.
