Yorkshire Road Relay Championships

Halifax Harriers put in a great performance at the Yorkshire Road Relay Championships at Don Valley Stadium on the 13 September 2009 including:

Under 17 men

Halifax A team; Sam Kerfoot Roberts, Chris Sage and Mikie Gaughan were the Yorkshire Championship Gold Medal Winners in a combined time of 31:23.

Halifax B team; Kieran Royston, Chris Gladwyn and Josh Nuttall finished in sixth place in a combined time of 35:18.

Under 17 Women

Halifax A team; Natalie Wardle, Lorna Gill and Hannah Pilkington finished in fourth place with a combined time of 45:27.

Under 15 Boys

Jerome Castelow finished in tenth place with a time of 11:07.

Under 13 Boys

Michael Sylvester finished in third place winning the individual Yorkshire Championship Bronze Medal with a time of 7:57.

Under 13 Girls

Halifax A team; Mollie Traviss in a time of 8:20, Regan Smith in a time of 8:28 and Caroline Johnson in a time of 9:16. Mollie Traviss won the individual Yorkshire Championship Bronze Medal and the Halifax A team won the Yorkshire Championship Silver Medal.
